CSI-010: Digital Forensics course officially launched

Today we officially launched the CSI-010: Digital Forensics course. We had a wonderful reception at Cyberworkplace, where all the participants got the chance to meet each other. Our chairman Anouk Vos, together with Leonie van Haren, education leader ICT Academy at Techniek College Rotterdam, announced the official opening of CSI-010: Digital Forensics.

Steven Djohan, forensics expert and partner at Revnext was the first guest lecturer at CSI-010: Digital Forensics. He discussed real-life cases in which he has worked as a project leader and forensic investigator over the years. He shared his experience in tackling major investigations. Furthermore, he also mentioned the important features that a future digital forensic investigator should have.

Anjo Eijeriks, Techniek College Rotterdam & lead teacher for the CSI-010: Digital Forensics course, gave an introduction to the ethical and legal side of digital forensics. And showcased how to block the signal of a mobile phone by wrapping it with aluminum folio. Did you know that? 😉
